The Village offers four convenient ways to register for programs.  To register online or learn more about other methods of registration, click here.

 

Parks & Facilities

The Village currently has approximately 242 acres of parkland and 86 acres of conservancy. 100 parkland acres are developed and classified as mini, neighborhood, linear or community park spaces. The park system is maintained through summer seasonal staff members, who are employed from approximately May 15th to August 15th of each year. They primarily provide garbage/litter control, turf and athletic facility maintenance. In addition, throughout the year 1 full-time equivalent Public Works laborers are assigned to support park related maintenance.

East River Parkway & Trail - Map It!

The Village offers over 2 miles of scenic multi-use trail along the East River. The trail runs from Manderly Way to Westminster Dr. Parking or trail access can be found off of Westminster Dr, the west portion of the Rite Place parking lot and at the end of Manderly Way.

VFW Memorial Park

This 21.8 acre community park site is located at the corner of Willow Rd and Erie Rd. The site is currently undeveloped.

This .8 acre mini park is located on the corner of Guns Street and Moonrise Court.

Osprey Point - Izaak Walton League Conservancy
County Highway GV - Monroe Road - Map It!

Osprey Point is an 80 acre conservancy area maintained & managed in partnership with the Brown County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League.

Conservancy Features:

  • Two ponds used for fishing by children, seniors and people with disabilities.
  • Walking and hiking trails
  • A Heron rookery
  • Wild turkeys
  • An Osprey nesting area
  • Sandhill cranes
  • Deer
  • Pheasants
  • Other wildlife

Shaha Memorial Park

This 58 acre park site is located to the north east of the Eaton Road and Grandview Road intersection. The property was purchased in 2008 for the purposes of a large community park / sports complex. This site is not currently developed.

VandenHeuvel Park

This 22.5 acre park site is located just south of State HWY 172 along the banks of the East River. The majority of this park is part of the East River Parkway & Trail. Approximately 6.5 acre section of the property will be developed as a special use park, such as a dog park.  This site is not currently developed.

Willow Creek Park

Leisure Services

Leisure Services LogoLeisure Services is responsible for providing recreational programs and activities for youth, adults and seniors.

In addition, the department is responsible for 13 park and open space areas totaling over 326 acres of which approximately 100 acres have been developed for public use in the form of athletic facilities, shelters, playgrounds, walking trails, etc.

Other major responsibilities include routine maintenance of facilities & equipment, providing support services for community special events, park development and managing the Village's urban forest.

Park Shelters

5-4-2010 070 Any person or group wishing to request to reserve a Village facility must submit a completed Rental Contract Form with appropriate fee and deposit to the Village Office (2828 Allouez Avenue, 54311) specifying the facilities to be used and the date(s).

Requests for reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Village reserves the right to deny any request if the proposed use of the facility would interfere with the maintenance of the facility, Village operations, or if the proposed use is in violation of any local, State or Federal laws.

The Village may also deny requests from persons or groups who have previously used Village facilities and have either damaged Village property or engaged in disruptive behavior.

Currently there are three other ways to register for our programs.

Mail-In:

Mail your completed registration form with payment to: Registration,
Village of Bellevue Leisure Services Department,
2828 Allouez Ave., Green Bay, WI 54311

Walk-In:

Registrations will be accepted in person
Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to
4:30 pm at the Village Offices.

After Hours Drop-Off:

After normal office hours, registration form with payment may be placed in a drop box located next to the front door of the Village Offices at 2828 Allouez Avenue for your convenience.

 

All registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If a program has reached its maximum enrollment, a waiting list will be created. For answers to more questions please review our Program Registration FAQs sheet.

Village Residents receive priority registration the first two weeks of registration. After the first two weeks, open enrollment begins and all registrations are accepted on a first come,first serve basis.
